Ashley Blair Fitzgerald has worked with such Broadway and ballet vets as Gwen Verdon, Nicole Fosse, Josh Bergasse, Gregory Hines, Ben Vereen, Twyla Tharp and Ann Reinking. After attending The Boston Conservatory, her first professional job was the National/International tour of Fosse. She continued on to perform in three 1st National Tours including Dirty Dancing, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Twyla Tharp’s Come Fly Away, where she starred in and was nominated for a Helen Hayes best actress in a musical award. Her NYC theater credits include Broadway’s Gigi and On The Town, where she understudied NYCB’s Megan Fairchild and ABT’s Misty Copeland. TV credits include Smash and Company. Most recently she has been performing in the off Broadway hit Trip of Love as well as performing in workshops for the upcoming Broadway production of King Kong. Ashley’s philosophy is to give her students a broad exposure to the many aspects of the performing arts, as well as expose them to as many different styles of Broadway choreography as possible.
