Based in NYC, Lauren Blue is a teacher, choreographer, company owner, performer, and an artist. Inspired by a varied background and training ranging from Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Ballet, her early achievements have motivated her to fulfill her life’s obligation as a creator and educator. Lauren Blue currently teaches as sub faculty and is involved with The Children and Teen Program at New York City’s Broadway Dance Center and has taught nationally for Dance Theater USA. As a choreographer, she hosts workshops to give dancers of all levels the opportunity to grow as artists and test their vulnerability. Lauren Blue has choreographed and performed for ABC Television, MTV, The Young Choreographers Festival, Choreographer’s Ball and The Boston Celtics Pre-Show among others. Lauren Blue hopes to give dancers and students the permission to be authentic in their voices as artists.
