Sarah is a NYC-based performer and dancer/choreographer who specializes in character and improv-based partnering and group work.   She is currently the co-director of MoveWorks, a company member of Amalgamate Dance Company, and has recently worked with Becky Radway Dance Projects, Aubrey A. Daval, and with theatre company, the PurpleThreads Ensemble.   Before moving to New York City in 2010, she choreographed solo, group, and site-specific work and taught ballet and modern at Boston University, where she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She has taught modern, ballet, improvisation, partnering, ballet workout, and stretch and relaxation at universities, community arts centers, and at national dance festivals. She has her 200-hr level yoga certification from YogaWorks.  Her goal in life is to create beautiful things and to make people happy.  She is so thrilled to be teaching in an environment that truly honors the creative process!
